Précision sur la mort d'Aurobindo Ghose

  Au cours d'un article sur Krishnamurti, j'ai eu l'occasion de dire que le cadavre du grand sage Aurobindo Ghose n'avait pas résisté à une décomposition rapide. J'ai reçu le démenti suivant de Namah, une internaute qui avait lu ce texte :

J'ai visité votre site concernant Krishnamurti que j'ai d'ailleurs beaucoup apprécié.
Mais je voudrais vous faire une remarque concernant un écrit où vous parlez du départ de Sri Aurobindo et qui ne m'a pas semblé correspondre à la réalité de ce qui s'est passé. Donc j'ai vérifié auprès d'une personne compétente de l'Ashram et je vous joins ma question et ce qui m'a été répondu confirmant ce que je savais:

Because of his yogic realisations, Sri Aurobindo's body had become so much infused with the light that the light remained for five days after his death. This is the reason why the Mother decided to postpone putting it into the Samadhi. When she found that the light was diminishing, she gave the permission for the entombment. Everybody knew that Sri Aurobindo had left his body, in other words that he was 'dead', and nobody around Sri Aurobindo, neither the Mother or one of the close disciples, has ever talked about "un corps transmuté et indécomposable". Sri Aurobindo went voluntarily and consciously into Death. And nobody near the body has ever talked about a "puanteur". On the contrary, some have mentioned -Champaklal among them, if I remember correctly - the smell of a pleasant perfume. This may be what the mind of the professor has remembered incorrectly and turned into something negative, fitting into his mental associations of Sri Aurobindo. It should be added that Sri Aurobindo's body was checked every day not only by the Ashram doctors, but also by a doctor of the French Authority, who would certainly have intervened if there had been that "puanteur".
I think that something can be found about this in Nirodbaran's "Twelve Years with Sri Aurobindo".
